
BCG Planning Services provide:
- Project Planning (Kick-Off) Meeting – Allow us to prepare you for a successful AAP development project by meeting with key members of your team and creating a plan to deliver audit-ready AAPs.
- Detailed data assistance – Data comes to us in all forms and BCG has the tools to manage even the most complex data files. BCG knows that data management is a key aspect of plan development and our consultants will not consider data ready until all known errors are corrected. We will review data for errors, assign detailed Occupational Census codes, create job groups and more.
- Complete Narrative – At BCG, we provide more than a boilerplate. Our updated narrative contains both the Female & Minority and the Disabled & Veterans sections with detailed suggestions and samples throughout the document.
- All Required Reports – BCG provides all the necessary reports in an easy-to-read format. Included, but not limited to: Workforce Analysis, Job Group Analysis, Two-Factor Availability Analysis, Incumbency vs. Availability Analysis (Utilization), Placement Goals, Goals Progress, Personnel Transactions, Narrative text and more. We also identify any Annotated (Corporate Initiative) employees in the plan.
- Additional Reports – BCG provides more than the basic AAP reports. Also included in the AAP are Workforce and Job Group Summaries, Internal Availability reports, Item #11 Compensation Summary, Zip Code Analyses and more.
- Adverse Impact Analysis – Analysis of a contractors transactions is the most common problem area for contractors and the most likely place for finding violations by OFCCP. BCG consultants will develop proper analyses for Hires, Promotions, Terminations, and Applicants. We can provide Impact Ratio Analyses and/or Statistical Significance tests such as Chi-Square or Fisher’s Exact tests if needed.
- Compensation Analysis – BCG will conduct the most current OFCCP style analysis with your standard AAP. The current test is called the “Trigger” or “Red-Flag” test that OFCCP is utilizing as a brief, non-statistical test, to determine if there is cause for further investigation. Also, if Multiple Regression is desired or necessary, you won’t find anyone more qualified to run detailed statistical analyses if you need them.
- Executive Summaries – For those contractors with multiple establishments, BCG offers unique executive summary reports to assist HR staff with communicating the results of their AAP analyses to senior management. The BCG Trend reports will provide insight as to how widespread problem areas are and how they impact the various levels of the company.
- Diversity Reporting – One of the goals of a good consultant should always be to assist contractors in the interpretation and implementation of AAP results. In addition to summary reports, BCG offers Diversity reporting that helps the contractor understand where problem areas lie at several levels of the organization in a format that will have meaning to both staff and management.
- Plan Review (Wrap-Up) Meeting – With every plan we create, BCG consultants will review the results with the plan managers. We will identify and define the goals and other problem areas of the company and the Action Oriented Programs that were selected to meet them.
- Ongoing Support – A Director at OFCCP once asked a manager from BCG if we deliver the completed AAP and then “wash our hands of it” with no further involvement as it appears many consultants do. Here at BCG we know that in today’s compliance industry, the appropriate relationship is a year-round activity where completing the AAP is only the beginning. From progress reports to training and OFCCP updates, BCG’s involvement goes far beyond the completion of the Affirmative Action Plan.

- Train and guide the client through the entire process with the intent on helping the client become more self-sufficient and knowledgeable about OFCCP audits and how to prepare for them
- Deliver a complete and compliant AAP as part of the normal development cycle. We will also develop an AAP on a rush basis as needed
- Help the client identify potential problem areas and work towards correcting them prior to an OFCCP audit
- Assist the client with any questions the OFCCP may have and communicate directly with OFCCP when appropriate
